Hospitality & Tourism Academy

The Harrison High School Hospitality Academy, now in its 8th year, provides Harrison students with career-ready skills to enter the workforce and pursue post-secondary training.

Students who enroll in our hospitality program begin their course of study during junior year.  This two year program allows students to train in-house under the instruction of our award-winning chef instructor, John Koutsouris, earn nine college credits, and gain ServSafe certification.

We partner with The National Restaurant Association ProStart Program, the HHS Business Department, and Hudson County Community College.
